I have accepted a postdoctoral position at the Utah Water Research Laboratory in the Department of Civil Engineering at Utah State University, working under David Rosenberg.

New Research

My new work will seek to combine paleoclimate reconstructions of drought over the past 900 years with water management models in the Bear River watershed. This is designed to both improve our paleo-streamflowflow generation methods and to test the vulnerability to drought in the Bear River watershed.

The Bear River is a trans-boundary watershed that passes through Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah, eventually emptying into the Great Salt Lake. It is the largest tributary of the Great Salt Lake and the largest river in North America that does not ultimately reach the sea.
