Community Resilience at MORPC Data Day 2026

Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission Data Day 2026

The Stagge Lab was proud to participate in this year’s MORPC Data Day: People + Data = Inspired Futures, held at the Columbus State Community College Center for Workforce Development. This event brought together regional experts to explore how data-driven decision-making can move Central Ohio toward a more resilient and inspired future.

Responding to Community-driven resilience needs using data

I had the pleasure of co-presenting alongside an interdisciplinary team: Katie Kenney, Heather Lochotzki, Kelsea Best, Lorrayne Miralha, and Yvonka Hall. Our talk was titled “Responding to Community-driven resilience needs using data”.

Abstract

Lean how community co-design and data-driven strategies meet local needs despite federal funding cuts. Explore EPA, NOAA, and NFWF projects that use collaborative planning and GIS to drive resilience. This session is ideal for anyone looking to apply data skills to support and strengthen community resilience.
